I hope you’ll enjoy watching this demo on blending colour and developing deep, rich tones using the wet-in-wet technique. I can’t believe it’s only a week since I was painting to this haunting music and had an idea… Thanks to my son Patrick’s enthusiasm and talent, we now have this video on YouTube – it was most enjoyable to create together. Patrick filmed me before my afternoon class arrived, then stayed on and produced a second, short promo film for my watercolour classes, which I’ll post soon.
Materials used: Seawhite 350gsm cold-pressed paper and Winsor & Newton Cotman/Professional + SAA watercolour tubes.
