Wet-in-wet, run-backs, granulating pigments and dry brush are used in this miniature seascape.

Friday 23rd September 10-3

Five hours of watercolour bliss in a small group (max 4) – open to all levels of artistic ability but with little or no experience of watercolour painting. Tuition in my studio near New Brighton, Wirral, close to the prom and historic Magazines area.

Watercolour painting has a reputation for being difficult, but once you understand the behaviour and interaction of pigments, water, implements and surface it can be exciting and addictive. You will also learn that you can remove colour, move it around and create texture and deep, vibrant tones or precise detail. NB if you are allergic to cats, please bear in mind I have two who make occasional visits into the studio!

£45 – all materials included, plus refreshments. Bring a packed lunch. PLEASE BOOK EARLY as only four students per group (further dates available).

To book (or request further information) complete the Contact Form below – exact location etc will be given on booking confirmation.
